Weapon Items
Weapons determine the base damage each attack by your knight does. Upgrading the weapon increases the base damage dealt per attack, and is the same at each level across all weapons in the game. You begin the game and each ascension with "The Rusty Blade," which has no perks.
Common Weapons
Common weapons are dropped early on in the dungeon and come with 1 randomly generated perk.

Rare Weapons
Rare weapons generally start appearing around floor 60, and come with 2 randomly generated perks. The vast majority of weapons fall into this category.

Legendary Weapons
Legendary weapons, much like rare weapons, are dropped with 2 randomly generated perks. However, in addition they also have one perk that will always drop with that weapon. These perks are powerful and are not usually taken into account when estimating your readiness for the next boss.

Possible Perks
Every weapon shares a pool of perks that are randomly chosen from upon finding a new weapon. The possible perks are below and do NOT affect the displayed damage in your weapons list. A bracket indicates that a number is randomly selected from within the given range, with generally higher values at later floors based on when the chest was dropped. "After kill" perks will stack with multiple kills, however the duration of any prior instances are NOT refreshed with a new kill.
