Armor increases the amount of damage the knight can take before being knocked down. Armor does not appear to actually reduce the amount of damage taken from enemies. All sets of armor at the same level will have the same armor value. You will always begin the game and each Ascension with the "Worn Armor," which has no perks.
Common armor drops most commonly in the early parts of the dungeon and have one perk.

A bracket indicates that a number is randomly selected from within the given range, with generally higher values at later floors based on when the chest was dropped. "After getting hit" perks will stack with multiple hits, however the duration of any prior instances are NOT refreshed with a new hit.
